OLDERØ fly fishing lodge

Olderø fly fishing Lodge has 11 beats to offer to our clients. Upon arrival the camp manager has prepared a rotation schedule, which all anglers will follow during their stay. This way all beats will be covered and all guests will get to try all beats. This also ensures variation and more opportunities to get into some exciting Salmon fishing during their stay. We have limited the fishing pressure to only two anglers per beat to ensure better fishing conditions.

In 2023, guests will have the opportunity to fish the following beats:

Olderø
(Homepool)
Holmen
Stangnes
(Lower part)
Ratama (Upper/middel/lower)
Stangnes
(Upper part)
6 to 6 – Swimmingpool
Bergkroken
The Bakery
Corner pool Mellaniemi

All beats have been carefully selected to accommodate any water level during the season, so that we always have beats to fish regardless of the weather conditions.

STANGNES SALMON lodge

Our self-catering lodge in Stangnes was built in the summer of 2019. It is for the single fisherman or small groups, who would like a more independent schedule and the ability to cook for themselves.

It includes 4 private beats in different lengths, all single bank, located in zone 1 and 2 of Lakselv. All 4 beats have different pools and enough room for two anglers at the same time. Due to the variation in pools, it is always possible to fish regardless of the water level.

We recommend that you also apply for a license for the public water during your stay. We expect that licenses for next season can be bought from 1st of March 2024. Click here to read more.

GUIDES

AT YOUR SERVICE

Olderø Fly Fishing Lodge is happy and proud to be able to present the best guide team in Lakselv. They are all very experienced and professional guides. The transport to and from the river is done in new 4WD cars driven by our guides. They will provide you with coffee/tea, soft drinks, or beer while fishing. They speak English and are experts on single- and two-handed casting, fishing techniques and of course the fly choice of the day. They will be at your service with the one goal of making your fishing more productive and enjoyable. Having a dedicated guide with you full-time will drastically improve your chances of success.

Our guides are constantly at the river and know where and how to find the fish. Furthermore they are a confident and experienced help when fighting and landing fish. There is probably nothing worse than loosing a big fish because of difficulties in landing it alone. When it comes to wading, we always put safety first. Our guides know the river, and will show you were to wade and where to watch out.

In addition to that, we strongly believe that good company only makes your trip better.
