The Olderø Fly Fishing Lodge is located on Olderøen Island on the bank of Lakselv river. It is only 100 meters from Home Pool, which is one of the best pools in all of Lakselv because it is the first holding pool of the river. The Lodge offers modern and stylish comfort in totally newly built facilities (new main building, built in 2018). There’s simply no other fly fishing lodge in Northern Norway like Olderø. The Lodge is not large by design (up to 10 guests), which makes the place more private. The rooms and common areas are spacious, and you’ll have every modern luxury at your fingertips.

With incredible vistas, exclusive fly fishing on private waters in 11 different beats of the river, free Wi-Fi, hot tub, drying room, luxurious lounge with restaurant and a nice fly shop, there is literally everything you need. It has 10 single rooms of which 3 of them are double rooms. All rooms include a private bathroom with shower. During your stay at the lodge you can enjoy a daily breakfast buffet, lunch and 2-3 course dinner in the evening in the restaurant. The food is prepared every day by our very experienced “top notch” chefs and is served by our friendly staff. We strive to use as many local ingredients from the Porsanger area as possible, so when you visit us you will not only experience the fishing, but also the local food.

weekly program

Day 1: Arrival after 4.00 pm. Pickup at Lakselv Airport or hotel in Lakselv. Food & drinks upon arrival. Opportunity to fish Home Pool. Dinner served between 7 and 9 pm.
Day 2 - 7: Fishing from 9 am to 1.30 pm. Lunch and siesta. Fishing from 4 pm to 8.30 pm. Dinner served at 9 pm Home Pool available before breakfast and after dinner.
Day 8: Opportunity to fish Home Pool independently until 9 am. Departure before 12 am. Transfer to Lakselv airport.

At Olderø Fly Fishing Lodge we have a small shop where you can find all the fishing equipment you need to fish Lakselv. We will always be there to help you find the right tackle. In the shop you will find brands like Rio, Sage and Patagonia. So, if you need leaders, tippets, flies, hooks, rods, reels, clothing, and accessories, you will find it in the shop. You can pay with almost any credit or debit cards in the shop.
