Stangnes Salmon Lodge.
After some years of consideration and many requests from anglers around the globe, we decided two years ago that we wanted to build a brand new self catering lodge. 1st of July the lodge was finished after some month of building and we where ready to accept the first guests. The last two seasons we had several groups at Stangnes and last season our good friend Paul Ryder caught one of the biggest ones for the season in Lakselv, the fish was 20 kg and 124 cm long. We made the lodge so it is perfect for the individual fisherman or small groups who would like a more independent schedule.

The lodge is located on zone 2, only approximatelyly 15 min. drive from Barnak airport and 10 min. drive from the town of Lakselv, so you dont have to spent a long time driving from the airport, any shops for grocery or to go out for a dinner in Lakselv.
The lodge has 4 rooms with a bathroom to each room. We think the lodge is perfect for 4 people, but it is possible to sleep eight people, so 2 in each room if you are a bigger group.
The lodge has a big kitchen where you can cook your food and sit and relax after a long day at the river. There is also a drying room to dry your wet waders and wading shoes. The lodge is build with a terrace all around the lodge, and you can sit outside and make a barbecue or just sit and look at the stunning view and the wildlife.

When you book Stangnes, you also book 5 private beat. It includes beats in different lengths, all single bank, located in zone 1 and 2 of Lakselv. All 5 beats have different pools and enough room for two anglers at the same time. Due to the variation in pools, it is always possible to fish regardless of the water level.
We recommend that you also apply for a license for the public water during your stay. Their is always a chance that the fishing can be tough. Licenses are awarded through a lottery or can be bought from 1st of March 2020. Click here to read more.
